Julian and Kate had left a very thoughtful range of breakfast options in the fridge and in the well equipped little kitchenette. Shower was amazing, the suite was tastefully decorated with all home comforts - and more. A short walk down to the picturesque harbour - an excellent location.

We got a free upgrade due to maintenance work on our original booking! We were very pleased as it was absolutely beautiful.
It was very private, peaceful, and a home away from home. Clare was very attentive and got back to us ASAP if we messaged about anything at all.

Helston has a long history, interesting shops and is a good starting point for visiting beaches, geology and ice cream!Since the by-pass, the town centre is safer! Big Salisbury's, Lidl. Access to the Lizard, Porthleven, Praa sands Kynance Cove all within 20 minutes travel. I stayed at the Premier Inn with its restaurant, car park and spacious room.

The quietude of the space was so right for me.
The quietude of the space was so right for me. Lizard Peninsula easy to get to and only took a few minutes. I loved the Llamas and donkey pottering around the site. Because the property had a balcony and good outdoor furniture. I could sit there and view the sea in the background.

Nice little shopping area good selection of shops.Lovely boating lake with swans etc.Spent quite a bit of time there. Ate at Wetherspoons as other pubs in town not doing food at time of our visit.Staff shortages?Easy to walk into Helston from where we stayed .Large Tesco opposite our accomodation.

Helston as a town has been left behind. In poor shape.
Helston as a town has been left behind. In poor shape. However, the surrounding area is wonderful. Porthleven, small but very friendly and welcoming. Location ideal for exploring the St Ives, Penzance, St Michael's Mount, and the coast from Porthleven round to Falmouth. Wonderful memories 💖. Thank you.

Also, there was a good range of towels and toiletries for us to use. The location was close to Helston itself and for getting buses to other parts of Cornwall, most of them stopped at the Tesco Superstore which is a few minutes walk from the Mandeley. would highly recommend to others and will be going back again ourselves.

The room was not too big but adequate for a 3 day visit, the bathroom had a perfect shower. The location was ideally located to visit the several interesting locations in Cornwall. We was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from Sarah. Nothing was too much trouble for Sarah who helped with advice of local attractions within the area. There was a choice of breakfast. Parking on site was also included. We would recommend Monterey Pines for people who are looking for a homely welcoming guest house.

When it is windy, it feels like you are being calmed down by the helicopter movement. The hosts are great, love the Ukrainian flag greeting me. The breakfast was yummy and I had plenty of choices being a vegetarian. The shower and toilet were clean.
