Breakfast was nice I think if I had to pay 20.00 I would not feel I had the value for my money however, it was included with the room and that was a bonus.

Staff were friendly. It looked like someone had urinated all over the elevator or spilt coffee during the night and when I brought it to their attention they quickly had it cleaned.

We enjoyed the waterfront parks and the Gord Downie pier.
We enjoyed the waterfront parks and the Gord Downie pier. Also there was some good outlet shopping and mall shopping. Since it was only late April, a number of attractions were not open yet. Also, most places were dog friendly and staff came out to say “bring your dog in”. But we would suggest signage indicating dog friendly or not. ( A simple sign on each entrance to malls, for example.). We had our own car, so easy to get around, and no problem to find parking.

Surprisingly there were a lot of very good and high end restaurants. I was not expecting it during April. The 1000 island cruise was ok but not really something that you “must do” or experience. Recommended you take the ferry to Wolf Island (free) just for the ride (stay on and don’t get off at Wolf Island). The walking track along the river was a highlight. The trolly car was also worthwhile. You get to see a lot of the old buildings on the tour. Kingston history is fascinating. You can also go and walk around the University as well.

Kingston carries itself with the poise of a bigger city while remaining relatively small. Lots of Gothic Revival architecture for the art nerds (I include myself on that list) and a friendly atmosphere made Kingston a fun visit. Also some really good bars and restaurants for a town of its size. A worthwhile visit if traveling between Montreal, Toronto, or Ottawa.

There are great walking trails along the waterfront and the downtown area was less than 10 minute walking distance and felt safe in the evening. The shops were varied and there were plenty of restaurants, bars and pubs to choose from.

It is a very walkabout city. Waterfront trail is a lovely place to stroll. Plenty of restaurants and shops in the downtown core. Lovely architecture in the old residential section. A few historical sites to visit, although open only seasonally.

The city of Kingston is so littered with homeless peoples garbage everywhere spray paint on almost every corner and a general public are smoking so much carfentanol and enphetameins and if that isnt enough Kingston possessed no family values from city council on down and the cheif of police is responsible for nothing but a 460 million dollar budget and the university students acue one million in fines annually for their wild parties
It is a lovely building and a nice courtyard. Had limited parking, although there was parking was across the road in a municiple parking lot. it was in walking distance to downtown Kingston and lots of choices for restaurants. The room was ok. The breakfast was limited to 2 choices. Sausage and potatoes with cinnamon pancakes or sunny side up egg on spinich. I chose the pancakes as it was preferred over the 2 choices , but I am not a lover of cinnamon, and the sausage was horrible, so i didn't really enjoy the breakfast.
I had booked an accessible room for my stay. The room was very spacious, including the bathroom. The room was very accessible in all areas. My friend and I previously stayed at a hotel that claimed to be accessible by just throwing a komode over the toilet. This room was fully accessible beyond what we experienced at a different hotel in the past. We only spent one night after attending a concert in the city. But we are planning to come back in the future when we come to Kingston.
Breakfast was amazing, lots of choices for all ages. Hotel location is great: 6 to 8 mins from downtown Kingston, and 3 to 4 mins from Hwy 401 (which is great if you're just stopping by for a day). The rooms were clean and nice, and hotel staff is friendly. We told them by email that it was our wedding anniversary week, and they actually remembered and made it extra special. We even got some nice pictures to show. Overall, we had a great time and would stay there again.
Bed was VERY comfortable - firm but cushion top. Room was clean. Coffee and tea in room.
Although breakfast was bagged, there was an assortment of muffins, granola bars, different yogurts, 3 juices, fruit and fresh coffee.
Outdoor pool was closed but looked nice.
Only 5/10 mins from downtown Kingston.
Exceptional hotel! If you are in Kingstone this is the best place to be: prime location, comfy and clean, great atmosphere and wonderful stuff who gives you space but still attend your needs. The breakfast was also great, Hope to be back there soon!
Nice little Motel. It is accessible and quick drive to downtown Kingston. Motel is older but kept clean, has coffee machine, tea, microwave and mini fridge and a full variety of Satellite TV not to mention fast internet. I would stay again.
The property has great location which is nearby stores such as grocery stores, fast food joints, movie theatre etc. Bus stop is right outside the hotel which comes handy if you are taking public transport to visit the downtown or lakefront.
Very comfy bed and pillows. Located downtown Kingston so walking distance to restaurants. Pool and hot tub. Easy check in and nice view over the water. Probably your best hotel in Kingston other hotels are holiday inn and lower chains.
Great location for travelling through but also has easy access to the downtown areas of kingston
Rooms are not fancy but are comfy with all that is needed
Staff are great- helpful and friendly
Breakfast servers were genuine and attentive. Better than expected service for a buffet meal. Hotel was in a great location to be able to experience downtown Kingston.
