The owner was very kind and friendly. The location is exactly the centre of Caernarfon, close to the castle and restaurants. The room was quiet at night and bed was very comfortable.

The castle and old town are amazing. The views across to Anglesey were breathtaking, especially at sunset.
Everything you need is close by and there are lots of places to visit - castle, marina, smallest pub in Wales. Along with plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes.
I use a walker and had no problem getting around. The castle is in the process of fitting a lift inside one of the towers, so anyone with mobility issues will be able to access the upper areas.

The castle was amazing, we could have spent longer there but wanted to fit in other sightseeing.
We were self-catering but there were lots of places to eat which seemed very attractive.
The town is not too large to get about on foot but I suspect most people would prefer the area around the castle and quays.

Castle interesting and views across to Anglesey beautiful at sunset. Walled town attractive though some of the outer parts a bit run down. Seems a lively place with a buzzing Friday evening social scene. Eating places mostly offering pub grub rather than local produce.(Ok if you like chips)

Magical, Musical, Happy, Dog Friendly and helpful place.
Magical, Musical, Happy, Dog Friendly and helpful place.
The cobbled streets bekan horses, the Castle stands strong, proud and has witnessed passing of time.
The Marina changes as many times as the moon rising and the sun setting, mirroring the life of the Castle.
Musicians bloom like flowers. Laughter and cheer brings people together here.

Finding somewhere good to eat was difficult, everything thing was closed, it was like a ghost town. Weatherspoons food was horrendous as was the Black Boy Inn, cheap food for an expensive price, wouldnt venture there in a hurry.
The whole place was very clean and well taken care of. The breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were kind and helpful. They offered ideas of things to do in the surrounding areas (I highly recommend a day trip to Llanberis - visit the slate museum and then hike to the Angelsey Barracks) and were very helpful with figuring out transportation options (We took the bus - drivers are very helpful too). The location was good; it was quiet but still not too far from the castle and restaurants.
The location was the best we could ask for: in Castle Square, few meters from the Caernarfon castle, the old city centre and the sea. The staff has been kind and helpful all the time. The small room spaces were nicely organized and decorated giving a homely feeling that we appreciated. We were generally satisfied with the cleanliness of both the room and the ensuite bathroom, even though the room felt a bit dusty. The stay in this hotel was anyway really worthy the (not too high) price.
The welcome, the decor (fabulous!), the ambience - and the breakfast was superb. There’s plenty of parking and of all the hotels we stayed in, definitely the most comfortable bed. It’s a place you’d stay in for a while (to make the most of the beautiful reception rooms). We walked down into Caernarfon and although it looks daunting with the road fairly close by, you can turn off left on the way and take the scenic route to the castle.
Very clean, modern and spacious new cottage
Superbly equipped with loads of crockery, cooking utensils etc. Fabulous storage in all bedrooms and kitchen, and very comfortable beds
Very lovely quiet rural location and yet well located to explore North Wales and Snowdonia National park
Many lovely walks available within a 20 min drive, and Caernarfon castle and the nearby beach are even closer at 10-15 mins
The apartment was well equipped and although we never met our host, she was in regular contact with us via email. We also needed to reach her by phone once and had no problem. The garden is nice and we figured out all the appliances although they were a bit foreign to us. The facilities were very neat & clean and the location convenient to the castle and shops. We enjoyed being able to make our own meals.
Location is excellent for touring around North Wales and a 15 minute walk into Caernarfon and great views over the Menai straits. Accommodation was clean and very well equiped, everything you needed was available. The owners had left a very nice welcome pack which included a bottle of wine, chocolates, butter, bread, milk, biscuits, cake and even some flowers on the dining table.
The location of the hotel is perfect for touring all the major attractions especially very close to Snowdonia Park. There is Asda right opposite the hotel too. The castle is walking distance.
The spa facility is also very good. It wasn't busy the 2 nights we stayed.
However there isn't much choice of restaurants around.
The Flat was lovely - well located, very clean and comfy with everything we needed. The host was great and checked in to see all was well. Clear and easy instructions provided for check in, parking etc. Flat is located a 5 min walk from the castle which is beautiful.
The location is really nice. The restaurants, river and bus stop are just short walk from the hotel. The room is spacious and bright and there are sanitizers at the entrance and hallway. Looking forward to go back in Wales and Llety Arall in the future.
We really enjoyed our stay. There was lots of space. Had a well equipped kitchen. Great water pressure on the 2nd floor shower. The breakfast basket was amazing!! Board games were a nice touch. So close to the castle. Really nice to have 2 bathrooms
Everything! The room was beautiful. Breakfast was yummy, and I was particularly happy with the vegan options. The hostess was lovely. And the hotel is situated very close to the harbour, castle and lo Al restaurants/supermarkets.
Very nice rustic hotel in a historical building. Courteous and professional staff. The location is great, with a supermarket opposite the street, and the main town center just a short walk away.
Located within the old city walls and two blocks from the castle, the location is extremely convenient. The food in the restaurant on the 1st floor is yummy. The staff are amazing!
Location and value. Clean and well presented. Handy for the “delights” of Caernarfon (beautiful place, shame about some of the revelers and rubbish left behind…)
