Excellent location, 5 min walk from the express bus terminal. I took the express bus from Seoul, so this was very helpful. Walking distance to all the main attractions in Gyeongju and 5 min walk to the bus stop to go to Bulguksa temple.
The room was very modern and clean. The man on reception spoke good English and was helpful and friendly.
Highly recommend staying here.

It was a large room with a little area off the bedroom with a table and two chairs. But that space had very poor lighting. The place was clean and had free parking on site. The owner was really nice and interested in talking to her guests and offering advice on where to go for food and sights etc.
I would give a rating of good+

Pretty town and worth seeing with wonderful restaurants but the burial mounds visit is a must. Very well organized with information centres.
The Hanok village is also interesting and has great restaurants.

I wish I had stayed at least another day to take in everything Gyeongju has to offer. Going with a guide who drove us around and knew all the ins and outs of restaurants and other places to visit was key to making our short visit so memorable.

In total spent around four days in Gyeongju and the surrounding area. The main part of the city is pretty typical of Korean cities. The main attractions are to the south. It is steeped in history and a great place to learn about Korean heritage. Tombs of former kings, partially recreated palaces, stunning bridges, fields of colourful flowers and some streets with fantastic restaurants and shops. Much of the historic area is laid out in beautifully maintained parks and gardens. A highlight and one of our favourite places on our 2.5 weeks trip to Korea. There are two national parks near by offering good walking opportunities. We undertook one short walk to Chilbul-am temple which was incredibly scenic.

Tourist area. But it was awesome. Lots of local tourists too so you know it's a good place to go to. Good food too. If you love history, you will love this place because you get to learn all about Korean history and the old kingdom.

A city with a rich history.
A city with a rich history. Lots of artifacts, museums, nature to enjoy. Very generous and comprehensive information from brochures can be easier found. Tourist information centers are really helpful places. The parks are really one of its kind....so beautiful and we'll thought out to make sure that all visitors can enjoy. Security is good in the touristy places.
We had a wonderful stay at Yasun Gallery. The host was so thoughtful and generous, she even made us gifts to take home. The delicious ginger tea and cake on arrival was exactly what we needed after our long journey, and we very much enjoyed our homemade morning breakfasts! We were nice and warm and comfortable in our room, especially with how cold it is in January. Thank you for a lovely stay. If you want an authentic traditional Korean experience, this is the place to stay. We will always remember our time in Gyeongju and your kindness :)
Amazing hanok stay in the heart of Gyeongju, but on a side street, so it was peaceful and quiet. The bed is of course a futon, don't expect a normal bed, because it is a traditional house. The owners are extremely kind, they kept our luggage for the night when we stayed at a temple and afterwards on the last day for the whole afternoon after the check out. There are only a few rooms and this is what makes it special. We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend it to everyone! It is a must do when in Gyeongju!
The Guesthouse is perfectly located by the bus station and the Hanok village. There are plenty of restaurants and facilities around the area. The accommodation itself is cute, well maintained and comfortable.
The stuff was kind and lovely. The owner makes the breakfast himself and I go the opportunity to taste some Korean food!
Instructions are handed in when you checked in, so everything is clear and straightforward. The dog / recepcionist doggie is just soo cute! Lol
We literally liked everything during our stay; the rooms are clean and tidy; staff is very friendly and helpful and the location and the Hanok is just wonderful. And please understand that the rooms are not as sound-proof as a newly build hotel, this is an old structure and therefore it can be a bit noisy if people don’t obey the “quietness” rules. I would definitely recommend this place and return there whenever I visit Gyeongju again in the future.
Best place to stay in Gyeonju! We are so glad that we stayed here in this traditional accommodation. It is super centrally located, next to the tombs and to the street full of restaurants and cafés, but quiet at night at the same time :) We slept so well! The hosts are super nice, and the breakfast was really complete. We have very good memories of this place from our whole stay in South Korea
The bed was so comfortable, free toiletries and towel to use, water filter, host asked if I wanted a traditional Korean breakfast to which I said yes please (guesthouse offers toast and cereal too). The host was helpful when asking about buses etc. Gwangju offers expensive accommodation compared to other places of South Korea so considering, it was decent value for money.
Highly recommend! Beautiful, clean, and comfortable property, with traditional rooms and beds, a modern bathroom with strong hot water, located in the center of town and walking distance to the historic sights of Gyeongju. Home cooked traditional Korean breakfast. The hosts/owners are lovely people, feels like staying with friends/family.
Traditional hanok house in an alley off the most traditional street in Gyeongju. Great location for tourist attractions, restaurants etc. Nice room, traditional with futons plus all usual amenities. Underfloor heating and AC. Common area with microwave and sink. Helpful owner. Washing machine for laundry.
Hanokinn is a beautiful and welcoming inn. Mr. and Mrs. Kim are lovely hosts who are proud of their inn, as they should be. Our room was so lovely. The breakfasts prepared by Mrs. Kim were delicious and very filling. We felt well cared for. This stay was definitely a highlight of our time in South Korea.
The staff and the people in the hostel were very nice. The room offers everything you need and the common areas are a great place to chill.
The location is in walking distance of all the attractions of Gyeongju
For the price you pay the Hostel is totally worth it.
The location is good. It’s really close to Bulguk Temple. There are many restaurants and coffee shops near by. The hotel staff is really nice and helpful. The room is large and really clean. Will surely stay here again on our next visit to Gyeongju.
This hotel deserves far more stars than indicated. It seems it is brand new or recently refurbished, for everything is shiny and clean. Best breakfast buffet we have seen in Korea until now. At walking distance to the main attractions in Gyeongju.
a family owned hotel, typically korean. Room and bath are very clean, the hanok is just in front of national museum (just cross the road), a 15 min walk from city center and all monuments, and near bus stop. And we were warmly welcomed !
Perfectly fine hotel with friendly people and nice and clean rooms. Bus stops are about 5min by foot and old Gyeongju is in a 15min walking distance. I would stay here again, if I get to come back to Gyenongju. Enjoy your stay.
very affordable, super location, really easy check in, and has breakfast that opens early (which is uncommon here!!). definitely the best place to stay if you’re coming to Gyeongju
Great location and less than 10 min walking to the express bus station, easy access to the main sights of Gyeongju. Room was nice and clean and has everything needed.
Very good hotel for a three stars hotel. Good location with a parking in relatively walking distance from most sites. Clean equipped room. Satisfying breakfast.
