Perfekt place to get away from the hustle & bustle of the city and relax in nature. The room was large and spacious (Family room) We loved the Aesthetic interior in the rooms and outside. Enjoyed a great time at the beach (at low tide). Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Amazing breakfast, very tasty food… we loved the Tuna steak.

The stay at Zan View Hotel was an amazing experience. View to the ocean from the 1st floor is amazing, the food is delicious, however, the best part of this object is its staff, especially the manager Frank :) Highly recommand !

I loved the colour, clarity and temperature of the water.
I loved the colour, clarity and temperature of the water. The sand was so soft and almost white. I didn't like the hassle on the beach though. It was easier to stay at the hotel to avoid it. But that's not why you visit another country!

Quiet part of the island with beach among the nicest.
Quiet part of the island with beach among the nicest. That meant fewer people and tranquility which was what I was looking for during that trip. The hotel was also exactly what I need. All the facilities (gym, massage, sports activities) + excellent food at a reasonable cost. And Fatma the day manager was great. A wonderful person and soul

Front Office led by Victor was outstanding and exceeded our expectations
The restaurant and other staff were extremely courteous and helpful in all circumstances.
The Food and Beverager Manager Zablon is a kind and focused man, results oriented.
Our holiday at Zanzibella exceeded all expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's cozy ambiance made us feel right at home, and the food was absolutely amazing, with great options for vegetarians. The private beach was a true paradise, and the entertainment program was fantastic. The hotel also provided excellent assistance in organizing trips around the island. Overall, Zanzibella offers great value for money. Highly recommended for an unforgettable experience in Zanzibar!
Zan View in my opinion is outstanding, because of its management & staff team, its authentic interior design and cleanliness and its location. In Zanzibar people are super friendly in general, friendliness and service-orientation of the whole team was exceptional and far above expectation (am travelling to Zanzibar since 2008). Located on top of a small hill, with stairways down to Kairo village and the hotels private beach stretch,it is a georgeous combination of hotel privacy and local village.
Unlike most other resorts this one is right on the beach, there is no barrier between you and the ocean. And since it’s a small place the beach vendors (who are everywhere on every beach in Zanzibar) tend to focus on the beach stretches of the bigger resorts. This is a huge advantage.
Food is great, staff is friendly and welcoming.
Walking up and down the beach it was super evident that this is the best place for kilometers both up and down the beach.
The staff was friendly. The property is very pretty. They gave us a tour of the property and took us down to the beach bar that is associated with the hotel since it is not beach front, but I just a short walk to it. There were towels and lounge chairs for the hotel guests on the beach. There was a set menu and also a special menu that was changed daily for new options. There is happy hour on drinks from 5-7pm. Great value for your money.
best hotel/resort I’ve stayed in, staff soo friendly and professional. they think of everything.
It was summed up by our final night on this Zanzibar trip, we were the last people having dinner at the Jetty restaurant, one of the staff members on the golf buggy knew somehow we were the last and drove to meet us, it saved my wife a long walk in her heels.
The resort has an amazing private beach and the ocean in Kiwengwa is beautiful. My room had the perfect ocean view.
Food was absolutely delicious, the local chefs did a very good job.
I also had a massage.. the lady has magic hands.
The owners are very friendly and they make sure you are happy with everything.
The location is really nice. Even though the hotel itself is not really at the beach ( they have a beach bar and the hotel is like 100 m further), that beach is the best one we've seen in Zanzibar. The rooms were clean and food was decent. The ac was working fine and water in the shower was hot. Internet was good.
Where to begin we had so much good food, fresh seafood delivered right to the hotel from the beach by the local fisherman, the kitchen staff is just amazing. Actually all the staff was super helpful, swimming is sometimes tricky because of the tides, but for this you can go on long walks to kiwengwa beach.
Nice location, quiet and very clean. The best boutique hotel we booked in Zanzibar.
The rooms are affordable for the quality and the private beach is perfect, many sun beds and security. We liked the restaurant and the breakfast surprised us for Zanzibar standards. The staff was very nice and helpful.
It's very nice smaller hotel than BlueBay which makes it more comfortable and quieter. The food is tasty and even there is no huge selection it's good enough. Stuff is professional so it makes your stay very pleasant and relaxing. I think that this is very good choice if you go to visit Zanzibar.
the Hotel is really tiny! (5 rooms total) Which is nice, personnel knows you, knows what you like and you know them as well. Short way to breakfast, to the pool or reception. Staff is extremely friendly, helpful and supporting. If you need something, there is always somebody to help.
I opened the curtains and the beautiful sunrise greeted me in the morning. The area was nice and calm and relaxed and the hotel staff was very responsive especially as I had some diet related issues related to my recently finished safari trip.
the excellent location on the beach . all the staff very nice . very good food . nice Zanzibari decoration of the rooms , the restaurant. very good atmosphere . very charming GM Chantal .
simple hôtel , the place to be in Zanzibar!
Room is clean ,beach view .staff is very professional and friendly. I enjoyed my stay there . It is like paradise.Flesita and Sasha were amazing and the rest of the staff also . For sure I will come again. Kwaheri Zanzibar
It is a small oasis in Zanzibar!
We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights, but really wished we could stay more. Staff was superfriendly and helpful, food was amazing and the location is truly a gem! 100% recommend!!!
Very nice hotel.
The food in the restaurant is excelent and it has a lot of options.
Staff is very well-trained.
The massage was very good.
The rooms are huge, very nice bathroom.
Nice pool and private beach.
the owner of the property is one of the best person that I meet in Zanzibar.
