We wanted to visit the national park, hence Crnmore seemed a good choice. The hotel is at a convenient location, if you want to set off early, you are near the main road, although it is very quiet. There were some munnys jumbing on the street next to the building :). The rooms are quiet. we had a balcony and a fireplace which made it cosy. there is free coffee and tea. There is a fridge as well. I loved this place to be our base fro 5 days.

If you are traveling and plan to stay in Banff National Park, there are several "high end" Hotels / Resorts. The Rim Rock is one of them. It is near the Banff Gondola and Hot Springs and convenient to the Bus that runs every 20 minutes or so to the center of Banff. The Views are incredible and the amenities are super. Not the cheapest place, but one of the best. Highly recommended for that "special" trip ... great in Winter as well as Summer.

Location is fantastic, Canmore is a lovely town which has great views of the mountains, the hotel is close to the highway and just over an hour to the Banff national park. Grassi Lakes is a must visit when staying as it is only a 20 min drive with parking available. The apartment itself is very well equipped, very nicely decorated and has everything you need. Since it was very hot, the mobile fans helped a lot. The barbecue corner in the garden is convenient, even if you share it with other residents. The location to Banff National Park and Canmore is great. Canmore is a beautiful place and very underrated.

Absolutely loved the cute cosy cabins and remote location to get away from it all. The staff were warm & accommodating. It snowed a lot when we were there so we had a true snowy wonderland experience.
