I simply loved my stay, and both Claudia and Stella in the reception were so kind and empathic, and did everything to make my stay nice. The room was cute - very clean and there was all I needed. The bed was great, not soft but perfect. I have been to Lido more than 25 times and have lived in so many different hotels. This was really a good experience.

Spanning 11 kilometres between the Adriatic Sea and one of the most famous lagoons in the world, Lido is a narrow and long island located just in front of Venice’s Old Town. Beach resorts, hotels and private villas replaced the vegetable gardens 160 years ago that provided tranquil settings for poets and writers like Lord Byron and Thomas Mann.
Probably one of the first beach resorts in the world, its first facility opened in 1857 and soon became a success. Nowadays, it constitutes a peaceful suburb that claims its golden past once a year during the Film Festival, and offers a quieter setting for your accommodation than central Venice.
There are actually three different villages on the island. Lido itself is located in the north, and includes most of the hotels and the Venice Casino. The smaller Malamocco and Alberoni are situated to the centre and south respectively. The sea-facing side of Lido Island is a succession of sandy beaches, mostly belonging to different resorts and hotels.
Gran Viale Santa Maria Elisabetta is the island’s main street, leading from the ‘vaporetto’ water bus pier to the sea. There are buses running on the island, while direct waterbus links to Venice Marco Polo Airport are also available.

Make sure you are told if the season had started we were not told, everywhere was closed til June so with lots of extra expence we had to change flights and book hotels in the city
We were totally disgusted with the whole holiday and wished we had never booked to go to the Lido and Residence la Fontaine, never again

Lido was recommended to me by a friend who goes every year.
Lido was recommended to me by a friend who goes every year. She'd stayed in lots of areas. Great choice ! The island was quieter, cleaner, cheaper and not so busy. It was lovely to walk around, trees, flora and fauna, churches , lots of shops and restaurants. Short stroll to a beautiful beach. Amazing sunsets, with all those views. Picture perfect. We used a three day vaporetta pass to get around. We were two stops away from main part of Venice, where we got off to explore. Four stops to San Marco, quick and easy. Longer trips to Murano, which was worth a visit...free to get into the glass factory on a Wednesday and the airport was a 45 minute ride, but easily done.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The space was quaint and perfectly located away from the crazy busy hub that is Venice. It was a 5 minute walk to the laundromat, where you could have a drink nearby at a bar while you waited. Another 5 minute walk and you were at the beach. Lots of eateries, shops, bars and way less people.

Very close to the buzzing city of Venice (only minutes by Vaporetto) but away from all the noise and crowded streets. Perfect place to relax in the evening. Very nice restaurants, B&Bs and even a beach where you can sunbath and swim. We used to stay in Venice but now we always stay here.

Feels like a typical Italian village, but it's only a ten minute boat ride to piazza San Marco. It's quiet, but elegant. The bars and restaurants I tried - on the main boulevard and along the canal - were excellent.

I have stayed on the fabulous island of lido several times as I love it there and it only takes 20 minutes to get to Venice by vaporetto boat, the island has many very good hotels, apartments, restaurants, bars, shops and a great long beach where there is the wonderful blue moon beach bar, there is a wonderful relaxing vibe to the island, where the vaporetto boat arrives you can get buses or taxis around the island and you can get a boat from Marco polo airport which takes about 50 minutes.
Le Serre del Lido is a very charming Hotel on a beautiful and spacious garden property which used to be the nursery supplying flowers for Lido's Hotels. The location is perfect - Restaurants, Cafés and Bars and the boat stop are just a few minutes by foot, and the beach is right across the street.
The owner, Francesco, was more than friendly and gave us the best advice regarding good food and cool things to do off the trodden paths. We will be coming back!
Excellent, large room. Cleaned regularly and bathroom well maintained and everything working well. Breakfast was better than expected, not just bread, croissants and coffee. Although Venice and its hotels are more expensive than anywhere else I regularly travel to, at the Belvedere you have a large room, it is more quiet than central Venice and only a 20 minute vaporetto trip to San Marco. There are reasonably priced restaurants and bars nearby.
the facility was modern and we could have enjoyed the common living room and garden. There are only few groups of guests and you can enjoy very relaxing stay. I also booked Svenicetour(the private tour by the owner of the hotel). You can ask him whatever tour you would like to have. After having sightseeing in Venice main island, Lido is a definitely a lovely place to have peaceful days. I would love to stay one more week here😌
First of the this is an old hotel. This is something you have to accept if you are coming to Lido or Venice. However, they did their best. It is clean, i mean really clean and well equipped with AC and amenities. The staff are quite friendly, they are trying to help with everything. By the way it is quite close to the beach.
I loved my stay! I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room and saw that it was a larger room than I booked! The hotel itself is beautiful, a gorgeous villa with a garden and lots of comfortable places to sit. My room was very clean. Will definitely be back. Grazie!
La Meridiana was a nice place to stay for weekend trip to Lido di Venezia. It is in a great location adjacent to the beach and is not a far walk to get to the main tourist area of Lido. The staff at the hotel is very friendly. Recommend this hotel to others visiting Lido.
Wonderful location which is near the vaparetto and water taxi station .
It has a great restaurant with very attentive staff and fresh well cooked food .Nice swimming pools and it’s a easy walk to the beach .
I
Would recommend this hotel to anyone .
Our host Sohail Ranna was absolutely fantastic - he made feel welcome and helped us with every question we had - he even recommended an amazing restuarant we ate in on the first night.
He couldnt help you enough and is a credit to the hotel.
Beautiful room and great breakfast. The location is just a couple of minutes away from the vaporetto stop and within a walking distance from the beach. There are many eating places very close to the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Free breakfast was great. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Cleaning staff even folded our clothes. Location was excellent too. I Highly recommend this hotel, especially for families who want clean, quiet and rather spacious rooms.
The location of the hotel directly at the beach, breakfast room also at the beach, the exhibition in the main hall was impressive, and the style of the hotel feels very pleasant, especially the long quiet corridors and internal gardens
Just lovely, We were given a great room with a terrace and would loved to have stayed an extra night but the hotel was booked. Venice Lido is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Venice and you can swim in the sea.
Nice location, big room and bathroom, very nice seaview from out room, clean, very friendly stuff. Next to the beach. Easy to get everywhere. If we visit Venice again, we will choose the same hotel again.
I upgraded to a delux which I then was lucky to have a balcony. The room was very clean as well as the rest of the Hotel.
Staff were very friendly. Not to far to walk to the beach and ferry crossing.
This is a real 5 star hotel. It’s beautiful with spacious rooms, delicious breakfast and with plenty of staff to serve you everywhere. It’s the perfect place to relax with family or as a couple
Personel was so, so nice... Location near beach and bus stops were also great and that was important for us.
