The working hostel offer free assistance with job placement, lots of jobs opportinuties are within walking distance. Very pleased with PCL. By far the best hostel we have stayed in, with great people from all over the world and very friendly and helpful staff.

They have a blow dryer and a hair straightener in the girls bathroom which I’ve never seen before and it’s super nice ! Everything was clean and calm and the location is great ! Big kitchen with everything you need and a dining area. Staff was wonderful!

Rotorua is 700 metres from the hostel, while Papamoa is 49 km from the property. Rotorua Regional Airport is 6 km away. The kitchen was great....but they had homeless living there and that made it not so gooood. I would have said this was soooo great if I had not had to share a room with a homeless person that snored and covid cough all night. The location is amazing, the staff was WONDERFUL, the place was clean and I loved the PINK bathroom. BUt sadly NZ is NOT ready for tourism the tourist info closed indefinatley and nobody know whats happening or who to get anywhere, using the bus was a NIGHTMARE....
