Good location where is front of lake :) the common space with fireplace is very comfortable nice to walk around the lake and get Mt john also grocery. great value hostel!

Set in a refurbished 1874 building, Jailhouse Accommodation offers an on-site café and a guest lounge with a cinema projector. It is 10 minutes’ walk from Christchurch Railway Station. The history of the place was interesting and brought personality to the stay. The code worked well and you could move around the place very independently. It was easy to get to the destination by bus from the airport (bus 3 to Christchurch Hospital and from there bus 7 stops almost in front of the door). The hostel also has many different places to sit and work in peace. A small yard is nice! There is also quite cheap and good take away food places near by. I would definately stay again :)

Hostel with "older" vibes and family style. Clean and extremely convenient location, loved it ! If you need privacy in a hostel, probably not your best choice.

Güney Alpler'in arasında yer alan Haka House Aoraki Mt Cook, Cook Dağı manzarasına sahiptir ve Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre'a 200 metre uzaklıktadır. An amazing hostel and location! It reminded me of the hostel in Liechtenstein - well cleaned and spacious for each person. Massive kitchen area with proper recycling bins. Absolutely loved the quiet area and access to the sauna was just amazing after the hikes! Great for stargazing too! The rooms had enough space for luggage storage and curtain to avoid disturbance. Haka house provided shower gels, shampoo and conditioner in all their bathrooms which was great!
