There was no Wi-Fi, but the facilities were great. The large apartment had a separate bedroom and a well-appointed kitchen. The location is just south of Haast, which is very central for exploring the Haast region and a convenient stopping location between Queenstown and the glacier region. The scenery is spectacular with rugged mountains covered in dense native New Zealand forests and wetlands along the coastal fringe.

Considering the remoteness of the area this motel offered such great facilities. The room had almost all the necessary amenities. And it was very spacious and my family of 5 was very comfortable and satisfied. There was a super game room which was really cool. My kids enjoyed it alot even very late duting the night. I stopped on my way to Franz joseph and it was amazing.

There is not much close by but we walked to the beach in 5 minutes. Nice view at sunset. Car is parked right at the door therefore very convenient. Staff helpful, gave us good information (e mail.messaging) prior to arrival.

Even though the Motel is close to the road there is no traffic overnight on the road so very quiet. Just the sounds of the waves breaking on the nearby shore. About 100 yards to an isolated beach which was wonderful.
